Are quotes free?
Yes. We come out, measure up, talk through options and give you a written quote with upfront pricing and no hidden costs.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are licensed and insured landscapers, and our retaining walls are engineer-designed where required and built to Queensland building standards.
How much does landscaping cost in Brisbane?
It depends on the size of the job, access, ground conditions and materials. Concrete sleeper walls cost more than timber, and long or high walls need engineering. The fastest way to an accurate price is a free on-site quote.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm, and Saturday 7am to 5pm. We are closed on Sundays.
How do I get a quote?
Call or text 0432 882 438, message us on WhatsApp, or send the quote form on this website with a few photos of your yard.
Retaining Walls
Do I need council approval for a retaining wall in Brisbane?
In Queensland a retaining wall generally needs building approval and engineering if it is more than 1 metre high, or if it is within 1.5 metres of a building or another wall and carries extra load. We check this on the site visit and arrange the engineering when it is needed.
Concrete sleepers or timber sleepers?
Concrete sleepers cost more up front but will not rot, warp or get termites, so they last far longer. Treated pine is cheaper and suits low garden edging. We will show you both prices in your quote.
Can you replace my old timber retaining wall?
Yes. We remove the old wall, dispose of the timber, re-dig the footings and rebuild in concrete sleepers or new timber, and can put a new fence on top at the same time.
Fencing
Who pays for a dividing fence in Queensland?
Under Queensland's dividing fence law, neighbours usually share the cost of a standard dividing fence equally. We can quote both neighbours and keep everyone informed before work starts.
Colorbond or timber?
Colorbond needs almost no maintenance and will not rot or get termites. Timber paling gives a natural look and is often cheaper for long runs. Both are built on posts set in concrete.
Do you remove the old fence?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old fence is included in your quote, so there are no surprises.
Turf & Artificial Grass
How long does an artificial turf install take?
It depends on size and access. One customer's full backyard rebuild with artificial turf was finished in three days. We give you a clear timeframe with your quote.
Which natural turf is best for Brisbane?
Soft-leaf buffalo such as Sir Walter handles shade and heat well, while couch and TifTuf types suit full sun and heavy use. We will recommend one based on your sun, soil and how you use the yard.
Is artificial grass good for dogs?
Yes. Pet-friendly artificial grass drains through, will not get muddy patches and is easy to hose down.
Garden Beds & Landscaping
Can you do a full yard makeover?
Yes. We regularly combine retaining walls, fencing, turf and garden beds into one project, so the whole yard is planned and built by one team.
What plants do you use?
Hardy, low-maintenance plants that handle Brisbane heat and summer storms, such as lomandra, duranta, grevillea and native grasses, chosen to suit your sun and soil.
Decking
Timber or composite decking?
Hardwood such as merbau or spotted gum looks beautiful but needs oiling. Composite costs more but needs almost no maintenance. We will price both for you.
Lawn & Garden Maintenance
Do you do one-off garden clean-ups?
Yes. One-off tidy-ups are popular before selling, at the end of a lease or before a party. Call for a quick quote.
